Should i trim autoflowers

In our first example, a grower who calls himself chubbs decided to subject his autoflower to heavy defoliation in week 7. Besides, the guy chose to defoliate his autoflower before harvest a little too early — at least one full week before the chop. Probably, thanks to the strong genetics. As a result, the buds were only ready after a full 13 weeks from seed.

In our third example, the grower Canamatoes did multiple toppings and mainlining and performed a thorough defoliation on several occasions. The one in the picture is in week 6 the second week of flowering.

All three have yielded g Cream Cookies Auto FastBuds — g Combing through Growdiaries, we have seen quite a few successful autoflower grows involving heavy defoliation. At the same time, many results were less than spectacular. Sometimes, it seemed that a simpler approach would lead to a more generous yield.

Because the grower defoliated only moderately, a few leaves here and there, nothing radical. Hello everyone.

This is my first time on this forum as well as my first time growing. I'm as green as they come but I have been learning alot and would appreciate any advice given. The largest plant is 48 days into the grow. And the others are staggered about 10 days apart. My biggest plant is the one I'm asking about. Should I trim the bottom of the plant? It is incredibly wide and bushy and dont know if she needs all the leaves and if it will increase or decrease my yield.

I have only been tucking top fan leaves throughout the weeks currently. I read many mixed opinions about trimming autoflowers. Some say trim the bottom, some say dont because that is food later for the plant, and some say it's to stressful for the short life of an autoflower. Please chime in!! I would love to hear some advice on what people think on the topic. I remove any unproductive growth from my autos.

Personal preference. Great job pepperoni, beatiful ladies. Well done. Cant help with your question as I don't do Autos. Thanks blackthumbbetty! Ah, now we are getting somewhere! I am on 20 hrs. I assume it would be, but what do i know!!! I wish I remember where I read that.

Thanks again blackthumbbetty!!! That would be enough time for sure, sounds like? I had to make a move on that one asap, so just put her in the dark… That room is not as dark as I had hoped during the day though, but prob. A little light gets in on side of door and bottom of the blinds…. Is fairly bright light ok then? Normal kitchen table lighting? Did not get to trim as much as I wanted yet… Thanks blackthumbbetty!!!
