When she asked him if he wanted her to finish him off, she told him that she simply refuses and further told him to stop talking all big. She stated that there was a time when they ceased being Human , and became beasts. Now, as Arrancar they had regained their sense of reason. She explained to him that rational people, when going to battle need a reason to fight and he had none. Nnoitra screamed at her that he had a reason, he could not stand her.
Nelliel detailed that it wasn't a reason, just an instinct, as he is a beast and she didn't recognize him as a warrior. Therefore she had no reason to bear the life of someone not a warrior. After Nelliel left, Nnoitra was approached by Tesra Lindocruz who offered him a hand. Nnoitra told him not to act friendly with him, and that just because he lost did not mean they were of the same level.
When Tesra asked why he had to pick on Nelliel and no other Espada, Nnoitra explained that it was because he hated her, some female being able to outrank, be greater than a man on the battlefield; that was his reason. Sometime later, Nnoitra teamed up with Szayelaporro Granz who was not an Espada at the time to perform a sneak attack on Nelliel as well as test a device Szayelaporro created.
Nelliel stated it was none of his business and asked if revealing his weapon was a form of intimidation. She advised him to keep it concealed if he didn't want to look weak and moved on. There was an explosion which got Nelliel's attention. She turned to Nnoitra and asked him if he forcibly removed their masks as she became enraged. By exploiting the opportunity, Nnoitra attacked Nelliel and hit her from behind, causing a wound to her head and her mask to break on the front left side.
The attack scarred her forehead and left her unconscious. He took her unconscious body and stated that she would probably call this an act of a beast, but it didn't matter any to him. He was approached from behind by Szayelaporro who asked if there was anything else to which Nnoitra responded that his job was already over.
Szayelaporro asked him if he needed to be so cold as they had worked as partners and that he should at least be allowed to admire their end. Nnoitra detailed that he didn't remember being his partner and they just happened to have the same motives. Nnoitra threw Nelliel off the side of Las Noches so that he could increase his power by the time she returned. Nnoitra snapped back that he wasn't even an Espada.
Szayelaporro stated that if not for the equipment that he prepared, Nnoitra wouldn't even have had the chance to attack Nelliel. Nnoitra then asked if he should really be speaking to him that way. Szayelaporro noted that he had not anticipated this and he had never seen anything like it before.
He deduced that her Reiatsu was leaking out of the wound on her mask, shrinking her spiritual body as a result. Afterward, Pesche and Dondochakka vowed that they would protect this newly weakened Nel at any cost. They took the roles of her playful older brothers, never revealing to her their true identities or her own identity for fear of her memories coming back. According to Pesche, this was because she had always hated fighting, and in her child form she was spared from it.
Ichigo then realizes that Nel is actually a Hollow herself and not a Human. Nel tells Ichigo that Dondochakka and Pesche are her brothers and Bawabawa is their pet.
Ichigo is confused by this as he's never heard of Arrancar having siblings. Dondochakka explains that he just found Nel lying around and that he just had to become her brother. Everyone then decides to ride Bawabawa to get to Las Noches faster.
On the way there, Ichigo questions if they are really Arrancar since they have a different feel then the ones he met in the Human World. She continues to explain that they are ruled by the Espada and are combat experts who are "filthy bugs".
She then notices that Ichigo is not like an Arrancar either because of his lack of mask and black clothes. Ichigo then tells her he's a Shinigami and that causes Nel to panic thinking that they will all get killed if they go to Las Noches. All of a sudden, Runuganga , the guardian of the white sands, appears and confronts Nel and her friends. Runuganga explains that he got information from Las Noches about people invading and that Nel joining with them is unforgivable and Nel tries to explain that she isn't with them.
Ichigo believes he's won, but Runuganga gets back up and brings his head back together. Nel explains that he is all of the sand in the area and that he can always come back together. Ichigo, realizing he can't be beaten, decides to escape and think of a strategy. Runuganga says he won't allow that though and forms a massive pit in the sand that starts sucking them down.
Ichigo asks Nel if he has a weakness and she explains it's water and he asks where they're going to find that. All of a sudden, a huge blast of ice comes and completely freezes Runuganga. The ice breaks and kills Runuganga. Ichigo looks to see who did that and finds Rukia Kuchiki and Renji Abarai. Nel is panicked by this, continuing to think that Shinigami are bad. Ichigo, with Nel Tu on his back, encounters Dordoni. Ichigo and his group break into Las Noches and split into five directions, leaving Nel and her brothers behind.
The siblings decide to follow Ichigo, but get lost. Nel is the only one who catches up to Ichigo, arriving just in time to be confronted by Dordoni Alessandro Del Socaccio , a Privaron Espada with a number of Enraged, Dordoni attacks Nel, who is then saved by Ichigo. Dordoni then makes an attempt at attacking Nel further to goad Ichigo into using his Hollowfication.
Nelliel appears on the cover of the 34th volume of the manga, [ 6 ] which in was the 12th best-selling volume in Japan. Nelliel has two distinct and distinct appearances, although she shares basic features in both. In her childlike appearance , she is a girl of a few years with short green hair , in addition to being covered by an equally green tunic ; his hollow mask is on top of his head and he has a scar across his forehead.
As an adult, Nelliel has a height commensurate with her age, long green hair, a slender figure, a serene and relaxed appearance. His mask changes, appearing two coiled horns on the sides. In addition to this, he has the number "three" engraved on his back, representing his rank in the Espada.
Nell's vocabulary stands in stark contrast to her apparent age, as it contains certain expressions and words that are not typical of a young child. Ichigo Kurosaki assumes that his "brothers" have been to blame for this.
Even so, both Nell and Pesche and Dondochakka from their first appearance prove to be nothing like the rest of Hollows and Arrancar, as they are not evil entities, but quite the opposite, certainly comic and inappropriate for these races, and also fearful of the Shinigami, of which they affirm that they are the true evil beings of the world. But Nell does not take long to take affection for Ichigo and accompany him, showing a playful and mischievous nature, but also something jealous and hoarding.
In his adult form, that of Nelliel, he behaves in a much more mature, intelligent and sophisticated way, with firm ideas about how to fight, asserting that all fights driven by hatred, prejudice or simply animal instinct, do that the combatant cannot be described as a warrior, due to his immature behavior.
When she was still part of the Espadas, Nelliel was already a serious and formal Arrancar, who had already shown that she did not like fighting, unless it was for self-defense or to protect loved ones, something certainly strange in an Arrancar. During the fight, Nelliel is calm and silent, however fierce her opponents may be.
In addition, Nelliel is loyal, kind and compassionate, although in her you can also see traits that she still maintains in her childish form, such as the great affection she shows her friends and the great energy with which she shows her emotions.
The Guardian tells Rukia and Ashido that they should realize that Ichigo and the others are in trouble and that he isn't going to budge from this place and let them pass to save them. The Guardian then prepares to fight Ashido. Ashido tells Rukia to step back, explaining that he has fought this Adjuchas many times already.
He explains to her that Las Noches gave him the position of guardian of this forest, meaning that he doesn't even compare to the others they've fought before. He then tells her that he'll defeat him as his last act in this forest and tells Rukia to tell him all about the outside world later. Ashido then charges towards the Guardian and begins battling him. Nel suddenly yells at them that they have to go and as the group walks towards Bawabawa, Rukia thinks to herself that she'll definitely come back for Ashido.
Meanwhile, in Las Noches, Orihime stares at the window in her room as Ulquiorra Ciferwalks in and remarks that this is unexpected. Orihime is surprised by Ulquiorra coming in and Ulquiorra tells her not to make such a fuss. Ulquiorra then informs Orihime that her friends have come to save her and she asks him why they're doing this. Ulquiorra tells her that they've simply come to save her. As this happens, the group reaches the walls of Las Noches and they quickly realize that the place isn't made of Sekkiseki.
Ichigo and Lieutenant Renji Abarai successfully break through the walls of Las Noches, but Nel Tu informs them that they could have entered through the front if they walked for three days. Ichigo tells her that they can't just simply walk into the front of the enemies' base, and Renji adds on that they can't waste three days either.
Ichigo then thanks Nel for bringing them there, but if she goes with them any further, she'll be branded a traitor. Ichigo then says goodbye to her and the others begin running into Las Noches. Ichigo is eventually convinced to let her go, but before she can reach them she falls down a hole and Ichigo goes after her, but is quickly tackled by both Pesche Guatiche and Dondochakka Birstanne. Ichigo asks them where Nel went, but they inform him that they have no idea.
Ichigo decides that they're going to have to help out Nel and the others, and Ichigo jumps down the hole. Nel begins yelling at Ichigo until she suddenly sees him come down the hole, and Nel pretends to not care about him and says that she doesn't want to come along anyway. Ichigo gets mad at this and decides that he's really going to ditch her this time, but Nel begins crying and runs up to Ichigo, telling him not to go away.
Back at the top, the ceiling suddenly collapses on the group and they're forced to jump down the hole. The group quickly runs away and they tell Ichigo to do the same, but before he can, both Pesche and Dondochakka fall on him. Ichigo angrily kicks them off, but before he can move out of the way, the rocks from the ceiling collapse on him. Ichigo angrily gets rid of the rocks, and the group decides to progress further into Las Noches.
The others mock Renji for this, but he continues to use it anyways while walking through the palace. As they continue to walk, Ichigo wonders if this building was around before Aizen came here, and Nel informs him that Aizen built the upper layers of Las Noches, but she isn't sure about the basement.
Dondochakka suddenly notices something shiny in the distance and he runs towards it along with Nel and Pesche, and the others are forced to follow as well. A staircase is revealed to them, as well as another door, and Ichigo decides that he's going to smash through all of these doors.
The group suddenly feels an immense Reiatsu, and Ichigo apologizes to Nel, explaining that this really will be goodbye for them now, as even he has no idea what's going to happen from here on out.
Ichigo tries to explain to Rukia that they're up against the Espada, and that it would be much safer for them to stick together, but Renji stops him, explaining that " It's insulting to a soldier when you worry about protecting them on the battlefield ". Rukia tells Ichigo that she can handle fighting herself, and that she didn't come here to be protected by him.
Ichigo is eventually convinced to do things Rukia's way, and Renji tells everyone that he has something that will bring them good luck. Renji explains that the Gotei 13 used to have a ceremony before a big battle, and that while nobody really does it nowadays, it would be a perfect time to do it for this moment. Renji then puts his hand out and tells the others to put their hands on top of his, and Ichigo reluctantly does so.
Renji then shouts out " We at this moment head into the decisive battle. Have faith that our blades will not shatter. Have faith that our hearts will not waver.
And even if our paths should diverge, we all share a heart of iron. Swear that even if the ground beneath us should be rent asunder we will live and return to this place again. Pesche and Dondochakka decide to do the same, but they end up forgetting which door Nel went through. However, before this Arrancar can go and attack Ichigo, he hears the footsteps of someone else coming. Nel Tusuddenly appears behind Ichigo, much to the Shinigami's dismay, and she tackles him to the ground.
She begins crying on top of him, and Ichigo remarks to himself that there's just no way of getting rid of her. He then tells her to stop crying and he asks what happened to the others, and she tells him that she left Bawabawa outside because he needs to eat sand to live.
Ichigo revises his statement and asks what happened to Dondochakka Birstanne and Pesche Guatiche, and she tells him that they're right behind her, but she finds no one and begins to panic about where they can be. Ichigo suddenly feels a Reiatsu and looks behind him to see what it was, and he tells the enemy to come out.
An Arrancar suddenly slips on one of the support beams above, and he crashes to the ground, causing dust to fill the area. After the dust clears, the Arrancar reveals himself to them, but both Ichigo and Nel are unimpressed. The Arrancar asks Ichigo why he has such a weird expression, and he tells them that they just bore witness to his graceful entrance scene.
Ichigo simply argues with the Arrancar on this, and the Arrancar eventually accepts that they have different tastes. The Arrancar then introduces himself as Dordoni Alessandro Del Socaccio, the Cientecimo Tercero Arrancar, but Ichigo believes that he was referring to himself as a "celery tray", causing them to get into another argument. Dordoni tells Ichigo that he's really the rd Arrancar, but Ichigo simply remarks on how high a number that is, and remembers that Arrancar are only supposed to have two-digit numbers, unless they were an Espada.
Ichigo tells Dordoni that he seems really weak, and Dordoni tells Ichigo that he should fight against him then to see if that's really true. Dordoni moves to attack Ichigo, but the Shinigami easily dodges him. As the wall begins to break, Ichigo mocks Dordoni until a rock ends up falling on Ichigo's head.
Nel begins to laugh at this, but a rock falls on her head as well and she is seemingly hurt from it, causing Ichigo to run up to her. However, she tells Ichigo that she was joking, angering Ichigo. Dordoni begins to reflect on Ichigo's skills, but the Shinigami simply ignores him and begins to argue with Nel. Dordoni interrupts him, but Ichigo is surprised at the fact that he's still alive, and he asks Dordoni to let him through. Dordoni doesn't let him though, and Ichigo begins to battle against the Arrancar.
However, Dordoni easily destroys the technique with a simple kick, and he tells Ichigo that he should never judge someone by their appearance. Back at Ichigo's battle, Dordoni explains to his opponent that he's referred to as a Privaron Espada, meaning someone that is a former Espada, and that the Privaron Espada are the most powerful group here, right under the current Espada.
The two of them then form a distance between each other, and they continue to battle each other. As they battle, Ichigo notices that Dordoni's speed has increased, and he is eventually kicked through a wall and into another room of Las Noches. As Ichigo tries to regain his footing in the air, Dordoni immediately attacks once more and knocks Ichigo into one of the pillars in the room.
He mocks Ichigo by telling him that his reactions are slow, his defense is weak, and he can't even adapt to simple changes in footing. He suggests to him that he use his Bankai, since as of right now there is no way for him to win.
Ichigo explains to him that he won't since he will only use his Bankai against the actual Espada. He tells Ichigo to prepare himself and he charges at him by spinning and forming a cyclone. Ichigo barely dodges the technique and Dordoni appears behind him. He then forms multiple cyclones around him and sends them after Ichigo, who can't keep up with the cyclone's speed. The cyclones then attack Ichigo while he's on the ground and the battle quickly turns towards Dordoni's favor.
In the distance, Nel watches the battle and notices a nearly unconscious Ichigo with Dordoni standing over him, and Nel thinks to herself that Ichigo's going to die. Knocked into the air by one of Dordoni's cyclones, Ichigo is kicked into the ground by Dordoni. As Nel tells Ichigo another cyclone is being sent towards him, Ichigo, too slow to react, is pummeled further into the ground.
As the cyclone knocks Ichigo into the air again, Dordoni tells Ichigo to use his Bankai as another cyclone sends Ichigo crashing into the ground again. As Ichigo blocks another cyclone, Dordoni tells Ichigo he cannot fathom why he would conserve his Reiatsu when fighting someone like him.
Clamping onto Ichigo, the cyclone, lifting him into the air, stops in midair as Dordoni once again tells Ichigo to use his Bankai. As Nel asks Ichigo if he is okay, he ignores her as Dordoni, explaining to Ichigo why he cannot win in his current state, sends more cyclones towards Ichigo.
